Bengaluru: The 70th Kannada Rajyotsava (Karnataka State Formation Day) was celebrated with grand fervor across the state today. Flag hoisting ceremonies were held in various districts, led by state ministers.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi extended his greetings to the people of the state. In Hassan, Revenue Minister Krishna Byre Gowda hoisted the flag and felicitated achievers of the district. In Dharwad, Minister Santosh Lad presided over the flag hoisting ceremony along with a police parade.
