BENGALURU: Dattatreya Hosabale, the General Secretary of the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS), has made an important statement regarding the possibility of banning the organisation.

He clearly stated that it is not possible to ban a national organisation like the RSS for the sole reason that a single person wishes it. "There must be appropriate and strong reasons for banning any organisation. The Sangh cannot be banned just because someone desired it," Dattatreya Hosabale said.

This statement has gained significant importance in political circles as the Sangh prepares to celebrate its centenary in 2025. He clarified that the RSS is engaged in nation-building and social service.
