Bengaluru: The Indian Passenger Vehicle (PV) industry has reached a record high in terms of sales in October 2025. The main reasons for this spectacular surge are the rationalization of GST (Goods and Services Tax) rates and strong festive demand.

Several car manufacturers have recorded their best-ever monthly wholesales during this period.

Key Statistics:

* Total Sales: Domestic PV wholesales in October 2025 rose to 4,70,227 units.

* Rate of Increase: This marks a year-on-year (y-o-y) jump of 17.23% compared to October 2024 (4,01,105 units).

* Old Record Surpassed: The October 2025 sales volume has exceeded the previous best monthly sales record of 4,05,522 units, which was recorded in January 2025.
