Singh, a five-time former MLA and notorious "Bahubali" (strongman) figure often dubbed "Chhote Sarkar" (Little Emperor), was produced before the Patna Civil Court on Sunday morning. The court remanded him to 14 days of judicial custody, after which he was shifted to Beur Central Jail.

Police investigations point to Singh's direct involvement, with the FIR alleging he even fired shots from a Thar vehicle at the victim.
