In recent days, horrifying crimes of assault are being reported against everyone—children, the elderly, and adults. However, in a shocking display of cruelty, assailants are now allegedly committing sexual assault against animals.
Dithipriya, a resident of an apartment complex in Chikkanaikanahalli, regularly provided food to a stray dog named 'Mili'. She noticed that the dog's private parts were frequently swollen.
To determine the cause of this unusual condition, she decided to monitor the dog one night. Based on her observations, it is suspected that 2 to 3 unknown individuals may have committed the assault on the dog. Following a complaint filed by Dithipriya, an FIR has been registered at the Bellandur Police Station against unidentified individuals under the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals Act and BNS Section 325. Officials have initiated an investigation. The complainant has demanded appropriate legal action in this regard.
Police Investigation and FSL Report:

The dog was taken to a veterinary hospital for a medical examination. While officials state that sexual assault on the dog is not currently confirmed, the vaginal swab samples of the dog have been collected and sent to the Forensic Science Laboratory (FSL). Officials have confirmed that conclusive information regarding the assault will only be available after the FSL report is received.
