Sun, Private Beach, and Luxury in Dubrovnik! Travel to Valamar President Hotel

This five-star Valamar President Hotel, located on the Babin Kuk peninsula in Croatia's Dubrovnik, offers a unique experience with sea-view rooms, a private beach, and V-level luxury services. Just 10 minutes from the Old Town, it's ideal for those who want to enjoy both culture and a coastal holiday.

Croatia's Dubrovnik ranks at the top of tourism charts every year, making it the perfect spot for late summer sun. In this beautiful European region's tourist market, Valamar plays a leading role. It's an industry giant with over 50 resorts.

Among many options, Valamar has chosen their Adriatic pride, the five-star Valamar President Hotel. Located on the scenic Babin Kuk peninsula, this hotel is an attempt to see if it lives up to the brand's reputation.

This five-star seafront hotel features spacious sea-view rooms, a terrace restaurant guests love, a private beach, and V-level services to enhance your stay. It's just a 10-minute drive from the beautiful cobbled streets and rich history of Dubrovnik's Old Town—perfect for those who want to enjoy sun and culture together.

The hotel, with its ultra-modern design, has spacious rooms with balconies facing the sea. Carved into the hillside rocks, it's designed with luxury comfort in mind. The V-level "Room for 2+1 Sea View" provides extra space, a sofa, a spacious bathroom with double vanities, and a private balcony overlooking the Adriatic Sea. It prioritizes comfort with a king-size bed and powerful air conditioning.JOHN PRIDE Plus Size Men's Stretchable Mid-Rise Comfort Fit Clean Look Blue Cotton Jeans for Men

The President Hotel offers breakfast-only or half-board options. The half-board is the better choice. Spending sunset hours on the terrace overlooking the private beach is a major attraction of the trip. Meals match the stunning views. Live show cooking, handmade sushi, grilled seafood, desserts, salad options, and local produce make every night a special dining experience.

Breakfast was also exceptional, including smoothies, unlimited champagne mimosas, and an omelet station. Beverages like water come with an extra charge. This is standard for some half-board packages, but it's important to consider it in your budget. Still, the extensive, excellent-value wine menu balances it out. V-level guests can choose dining at the intimate Moment restaurant instead of the buffet. It has a more intimate atmosphere and an à la carte menu that's special. For light daytime options, check out the seaside La Mar restaurant, which serves Mediterranean specialties.

Guests can go directly to the beach via the elevator—extremely convenient. The pebble beach has two sections: one for all guests and another for V-level facilities. The V-level section offers a superior experience with more comfortable loungers and a more spacious setup than the standard area. The President Beach on the Babin Kuk peninsula gets the last rays of sun and is one of the few places locals are allowed to access. Be prepared to share it with crowds coming to enjoy the final sunbeams. Convenient spots to enter the sea are available along the coastal path leading to Babin Kuk town, perfect for evening swims.

Download the Valamar app as soon as you check in. It helps track your expenses and easily book experiences. We booked a cave diving experience—a full-day sea trip including a boat ride and snorkeling through three different caves. Booking was easy through the reception staff, and the excursion was worth the extra cost.

No stay is complete without exploring Dubrovnik's Old Town. The hotel is conveniently located, reachable by a 10-minute taxi ride or a bus route starting from outside the President. Visiting at the end of summer is ideal, as the heat and peak-season crowds are lower. Set an early alarm to avoid crowds while walking the city walls. The approximately 2 km route offers stunning views of the terracotta rooftops. Game of Thrones fans can spot King's Landing scenes. Watch the sunset from the famous Buža Bar, or take the 778-meter cable car to the viewpoint platform for breathtaking coastal views. Walk along the shore to the Dubrovnik Homeland War Museum dedicated to Croatia's war, and end the day with a snack at Panorama Restaurant & Bar.

One of the big questions online about V-level facilities at Valamar hotels is whether upgrading to V-level service is worth it. The answer is undoubtedly 'yes.' Its perks include dedicated concierge service, private check-in, upgraded accommodations, gourmet dining, premium amenities, and exclusive access to a separate beach and pool area. Airport transfers and valet parking are also provided.

Even if they seem like unnecessary extras, they can elevate your stay. The beach and pool areas can be a bit crowded, so don't underestimate the benefit of reserved spots. Access to breakfast and private dining at the Moment restaurant is a special upgrade that makes the trip memorable. The "Bubbly Hour" from 6 to 7 PM is another highlight; spending time on the quiet terrace away from crowds with a glass of fizz and snacks provides an excellent experience.Fog, Nature, and Hills – Want to See a Dream World...? Many guests were repeat customers—and it's not hard to see why. Valamar's rewards system encourages signing up to earn credits for future stays. However, be prepared for a premium price tag. Dubrovnik is an expensive destination, and staying here won't be cheap. To avoid dynamic pricing, booking in late summer or early spring is highly recommended. If you're seeking off-season sun or planning to avoid early 2026 crowds, the President Hotel Dubrovnik is the perfect spot to enjoy the best experiences it offers, providing the ultimate mix of beach gateway and city break.
