Highlights of the Second Day:Teppotsava at Madhwa Sarovara:
Following evening pooja rituals, the festival idols of Lord Sri Krishna and Sri Mukhyaprana Devaru were beautifully adorned and placed on a decorated float for the Teppotsava at the Math’s enchanting Madhwa Sarovara. Grand Chariot Procession (Rathotsava):
After the Teppotsava, the magnificent Rathotsava commenced along Rathabeedi. Thousands of devotees lit earthen lamps around the street, creating a dazzling spectacle of light. The festival idols of Sri Krishna and Mukhyaprana Devaru were placed in the Garuda Ratha, while those of Sri Ananteshwara and Sri Chandramouleshwara Devaru were enshrined in the Maha Pooja Ratha. These chariots were pulled in a ceremonial circumambulation of Rathabeedi.
Cultural Splendor:
Accompanying the Rathotsava were the resounding melodies of Nadaswara, Panchavadya, and Chande drums. A spectacular fireworks display lit up the night sky. Paryaya Swamijis and several seers from the Ashta Mathas were present, guiding and blessing the devotees.Throughout the day, the air in Udupi was filled with the chanting of Krishna’s name and festive fervor. Thousands of devotees participated in the celebrations, receiving the divine grace of Lord Krishna.
