After a prolonged battle against thyroid cancer, actor Harish Rai has left this world. From 'Om' to 'KGF', he shone in powerful roles in numerous films, and his demise has left the Kannada film industry in grief. Many, including Yash, stood by him during his treatment.

Renowned villain actor of Kannada cinema, Harish Rai, has passed away after fighting cancer for several years. He became a household name through diverse roles in popular films like 'Om', 'Nall', and recent blockbusters 'KGF' and 'KGF 2'.

Harish Rai was severely suffering from thyroid cancer. Due to the illness, his body had become emaciated and changed so much that he was unrecognizable. He had also appealed for financial help for his treatment.

During his difficult times, many prominent figures and artists from the film industry, including actor Yash, producer Umapathi Srinivas, and Darshan fan clubs, provided financial assistance.
