New Delhi: Deputy Chief Minister D.K. Shivakumar, speaking in New Delhi on Thursday, addressed and dismissed persistent speculation regarding leadership change and a potential 'revolution' in Karnataka politics. He firmly stated, "There is no November revolution, nor a December revolution. Nothing will happen in January or February either. The revolution, if any, will only happen in 2028, with the Congress returning to power. " Responding to questions about the possible change of Chief Minister Siddaramaiah, D.K. Shivakumar clarified that neither he nor the CM has spoken about the matter.
"If the party decides that CM Siddaramaiah should stay for five years, he will complete the five years. He will stay for 10 or 15 years too. We will follow whatever the party instructs. I am a disciplined soldier of the party and will never cross the party line," he said, attempting to temporarily halt the CM change discussions.
