Launch of Golden Jubilee: The celebrations recognize the Reporters' Guild's five-and-a-half decades of contributions to journalism and society.

Bengaluru: Chief Minister Siddaramaiah launched the logo for the Golden Jubilee (55th anniversary) celebrations of the Reporters' Guild, Karnataka's premier professional body for journalists, at an event held at his home office, Krishna. The logo was unveiled in the presence of Guild President R.T. Vitthalamurthy and General Secretary H.V. The event marked the official commencement of the Guild's year-long Golden Jubilee festivities, honoring 55 years of dedicated service to public life and the media landscape in Karnataka.

He praised journalists for fearlessly reporting the truth and acknowledged the professional challenges and issues faced by the Guild.
