Emphasizing the role of infrastructure in national development, PM Modi stated, "Once robust connectivity is in place, urban growth kicks off on its own. Infrastructure isn't just about grand bridges and highways—it's much more than that."

Prime Minister Narendra Modi visited his parliamentary constituency in Varanasi today and inaugurated four new Vande Bharat Express trains. This marks another key milestone in the expansion of India's semi-high-speed rail network. The new trains will operate on the Varanasi-Khajuraho, Lucknow-Saharanpur, Firozpur-Delhi, and Ernakulam-Bengaluru routes, promising faster travel options and enhanced connectivity across diverse regions of the country.

With this addition, the total number of Vande Bharat Express trains operating nationwide has now reached 160.
