The farmers expressed several major concerns to MLA Anil Chikkamadu - Residents are terrified to venture out to their fields due to the increasing menace of wild animals. Crops cultivated by the farmers are frequently being destroyed or consumed by the wild animals. They allege that Forest Department officials have not genuinely attempted to capture the tiger but are merely engaging in "eye-washing" activities to appease them.

Demands for Compensation and Operation -

The protesting farmers firmly pressed the MLA and the Forest Department to take concrete steps: They urged the authorities to launch a full-scale operation to capture the tiger immediately. Farmers criticized the forest staff for their inaction, insisting that the Forest Department must work actively to prevent further animal attacks on people.

They demanded that the government provide additional compensation to the families of those who have lost their lives in these attacks. The mounting tension underscores the desperate need for effective intervention to mitigate the severe human-wildlife conflict in the region.
