Raichur: A horrific tragedy struck near the Lingasugur bus stand in Raichur district when a KSRTC bus ran over two young boys who were reportedly begging by the roadside. The devastating incident has renewed focus on the plight of children facing extreme poverty.

The accident resulted in the immediate death of one boy, while his younger brother sustained severe, life-altering injuries.

Victims and Injuries -

The deceased boy has been identified as Siddarama (12 years old), who died on the spot.

His younger brother, Dhananjaya (8 years old), was critically injured. It is reported that both his hands were severed in the accident.
