Parliament Winter Session Dates Confirmed: To Run from December 1 to 19

On Saturday, Union Minister for Parliamentary Affairs Kiren Rijiju provided information regarding the Parliament’s Winter Session. He stated that President Droupadi Murmu has approved the government’s proposal for the session.

New Delhi – The dates for the Winter Session of the Indian Parliament have been officially confirmed. The session is scheduled to begin on December 1 and will conclude on December 19.

The official announcement was made by the Union Minister of Parliamentary Affairs, Kiren Rijiju, on Saturday. He confirmed that President Droupadi Murmu has approved the government's proposal to summon the Parliament for this session. The Minister shared the details via a post on his 'X' account.

He stated: "We look forward to constructive discussions on many important issues. Emphasis will be placed on major bills, government programmes, and clarification of people's issues. We are looking forward to a meaningful session in view of democratic aspirations."
