New Delhi: Authorities investigating the brutal car explosion near the Red Fort Metro Station in Delhi have zeroed in on a possible female terrorist network. A female doctor come terrorist from Lucknow, identified as Dr. Shaheen, has been arrested and is currently undergoing intensive interrogation for more precise details regarding the plot.

Following the horrific blast, Delhi Police have registered a case under the stringent Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act (UAPA).

Dr. Shaheen is alleged to be the chief of the Women's Wing of the militant organization Jaish-e-Mohammed (JeM). Authorities are investigating the motive, inspiration, and specific role played by Dr. Shaheen a professional doctor in encouraging others to join the terror organization and her involvement in the Delhi attack. More facts are expected to be revealed through her interrogation.

Pakistan Link: Investigators are looking into the possibility of contacts between the JeM Women's Wing and other major terrorist organizations based in Pakistan. It was reportedly revealed during questioning that she was involved with other prominent Pakistani terror groups as well.

Defence Minister Assures Justice -

Defence Minister Rajnath Singh extended his deepest condolences to the victims of the incident and assured the nation that justice will be served.
