The deadline for participating in the social, economic, and educational caste survey in Karnataka has been extended. The opportunity for online self-declaration has been provided, with the new date set until November 30.

The deadline for citizens to participate and submit data for the ongoing socio-economic and educational caste survey in Karnataka has been extended. The Backward Classes Commission has provided an opportunity for self-declaration online, with the new deadline set for November 30.

The state-wide caste survey, where enumerators collected data door-to-door, is nearly complete, with approximately 80% of the enumeration finished. However, for those who were unable to participate during the physical enumeration drive, the option to submit their information online has been extended.

The procedure for enumerators to collect data physically ended on October 31. The window for online self-declaration was initially provided until November 10 but has now been extended to November 30, according to the Commission.
