A tragic incident occurred on the Aroor-Thuravoor elevated highway project in Alappuzha district, where a construction grider from the under-construction flyover collapsed onto a passing pickup van, killing the driver instantly.

The deceased has been identified as Rajesh, a resident of Pallippad, Alappuzha.
