BENGALURU: A serious allegation has surfaced in Bengaluru regarding a company that allegedly promised good jobs abroad, convinced innocent people, and then defrauded them of lakhs of rupees. The victims have now filed a complaint at the Koramangala Police Station.
Details of the Fraud Network:
The company, named Dusal Overseas, located in Koramangala, Bengaluru, is said to have carried out this scam. Its principals, Mudasir Ahmed and Shafiya Taslim, have been accused of taking money and deceiving the victims.
The accused allegedly lured people by promising high-paying jobs in various foreign countries, including Europe and Hungary. Initially, they took money by promising a job in Hungary. Later, they allegedly washed their hands of the matter by falsely claiming that the 'interview was blocked.'
Following this, they allegedly convinced the victim they would provide a job in another company and took money again. The fraud victim was conned out of a total of Rs. 3.50 lakh, after which the accused suddenly closed their office and absconded.
Contact Lost, Police Complaint:
After losing the money, the victims tried calling the contact numbers of the accused, but they were switched off. This confirmed they had been cheated, and for justice, they filed a complaint at the Koramangala Police Station. The police have already registered an FIR and are searching for the accused, Mudasir Ahmed and Shafiya Taslim.
Warning to Job Seekers Abroad:
If anyone offers you a job abroad and demands lakhs of rupees, fully verify the company and the individuals before handing over any money. Before making a payment, thoroughly examine the agreement papers. It is better to be cautious beforehand than to regret losing money later.
