Putin warned that if Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy refuses to surrender, Russia will continue its fight 'until the last Ukrainian person dies.'

Warning of 'Complete Annihilation' if Zelenskyy Does Not Surrender

In the current context of the continuing fierce Russian invasion, President Putin has sent a direct message to Western countries and Ukraine. Putin has threatened that if the Zelenskyy administration continues to refuse to surrender, the country of Ukraine will face 'complete annihilation.' Putin is reported to have said, "We will continue the fight until the last Ukrainian soldier and civilian dies. This war is essential for Russia's security."

Amidst continuous Russian shelling and air attacks, these words from Putin have increased pressure on Kyiv.

Rejection of Peace Talks

Meanwhile, Ukrainian President Zelenskyy has not yielded to these Russian threats. Zelenskyy made it clear that they will not surrender to Russia's demands and that the fight for Ukraine's independence and territorial integrity will continue.
