The coastal city of Mangaluru is making significant contributions to AI technology development. Today's "'Hackerspace Mangaluru Meet" has officially received central government recognition as a pre-summit to the India-AI Impact Conference, scheduled for February next year.
Member of Parliament for Dakshina Kannada, Capt. Brijesh Chowta, announced this significant development, stating that the November edition of the Hackers of Mangaluru Meet (HMNOV25) has been recognized as an official preliminary summit before the international India-AI Impact Conference, which the Government of India will organize in February.
This central recognition for the "Hackerspace Mangaluru" event comes as a result of its coordination with the AI India Mission. This crucial endorsement is expected to boost Mangaluru's aspirations to become an AI hub, further solidifying its reputation as India's "Silicon Beach" and one of the fastest-growing tech innovation centers in the country.
Capt. Chowta expressed his view that this will help position Mangaluru on both national and global stages in the field of AI innovation.
