Bengaluru: The state's weather has undergone significant changes due to the impact of the 'Ditwah' cyclone, which formed in the Bay of Bengal. The Meteorological Department has informed that there is a possibility of moderate rainfall in several districts of South Interior and Coastal Karnataka, including the capital city Bengaluru, today (December 01).
According to information provided by Meteorology Department Scientist C.S. Patil, due to the effect of the Ditwah cyclone, the state will experience cold weather for the next three days, and the maximum temperature is expected to drop significantly.
Where is the Rain? Which Districts are Forecasted?
Light to moderate rain is likely today in a total of 14 regions across South Interior and Coastal districts. The major districts expected to see rain are:
* South Interior: Bengaluru City, Bengaluru Rural, Chikkaballapur, Kolar, Ramanagara, Mandya, Mysuru, Chamarajanagar, Tumakuru, Chitradurga, Davangere, Ballari.
* Malenadu/Coastal: Rain is expected in some parts of Kodagu, Hassan, Dakshina Kannada, and Udupi districts.

Due to rain and cloudy weather, the maximum temperature in the city is likely to drop sharply.
