This morning in Bengaluru, a breakfast meeting was held under the leadership of Chief Minister Siddaramaiah at his official residence.

Speaking to the media after the meeting, Dr G. Parameshwar said, “What exactly was discussed inside the meeting is not known even to us in detail.

But I believe everything has been clarified and all issues have been resolved.” He further assured that during the upcoming Winter Session of the Legislature (starting next week in Belagavi), the government will hold detailed discussions with the opposition on various problems facing the state and will take them into confidence.

When questioned about CM Siddaramaiah’s recent statement that “politics is not permanent,” Dr Parameshwar responded, “Everyone knows this. No one has permanent power, nor is anyone in permanent opposition.

This is the natural law of politics. Overall, the breakfast meeting appears to have temporarily calmed the internal rifts within the Congress party. However, whether everything will run smoothly once the legislative session begins remains a matter to watch closely.
