Sources indicate that crucial documents and communications related to the country's military and government secrets were found in the electronic devices seized from the arrested lawyer.

New Delhi: Police have arrested a Gurugram-based lawyer from Haryana on charges of spying for Pakistan. The arrested lawyer is alleged to have been relaying crucial secret information about the country to Pakistan's intelligence agency (ISI).

Collection of Money in Punjab

During the investigation of the accused lawyer, it came to light that he had recently visited the state of Punjab to collect money. It is understood that this money was given to him by Pakistani agents for his espionage activities.

As Punjab is a border area, it has become a central hub for espionage activities. Following the lawyer's arrest, the investigation is ongoing regarding how the money for spying was transferred and who all are involved in this network.
