In Rajasthan, police seized a truck transporting a massive quantity of explosives in the Rajsamand district and arrested two individuals.

The seized material included 981 gelatin sticks, 93 detonators, and safety fuses. Authorities indicated that these explosives had the capacity to cause damage across a radius of about 10 kilometers.

Preliminary investigation suggests the explosives were being transported for mining activities. Shipra Rajawat, Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) of Nathdwara, confirmed that a case has been registered and a full investigation is underway.

In a separate, unrelated incident, a bomb threat message was received by the Kempegowda International Airport (KIA) in Bengaluru and a few shopping malls. The threat was sent via an email from a person named Mohit Kumar in the name of 'Jaish-e-Mohammad'.Also Read: Cyber Harassment: The Dark Face of Online Violence Against Women in India!

Police immediately launched an intensive search operation at all targeted locations. Since no explosive devices were found, the incident was confirmed to be a hoax bomb threat. An FIR has been filed at the Central Cyber Crime Police Station regarding this matter.
