Panaji: The tragic fire at a popular Goa nightclub, which killed 25 people, has shocked the entire country. A video that has gone viral related to the disaster, which occurred at 1 AM in Romeio Lane, Arpora, North Goa, has now revealed the exact reason for the fire breaking out. Over a hundred tourists were celebrating the 'Banger Night' show when the fire suddenly appeared, engulfing the entire building in a matter of moments.

The new video that has gone viral confirms the precise cause of the fire at the club. Electronic firecrackers were used during the live music and dance performance inside the nightclub. The sparks that shot out from these firecrackers spread directly to the club's ceiling. Since the club's ceilings were constructed using highly flammable materials, including bamboo planks and palm leaves, the fire spread extremely fast, leading to the disaster. The situation became even more severe due to a cylinder blast accompanying the large-scale fire.

Cause of Death: Not Burns, But Suffocation!

According to Fire Department officials, it is known that the majority of deaths in this horrific disaster occurred not due to burn injuries, but due to suffocation caused by the dense smoke. A total of 25 people lost their lives, including 14 club staff members and four tourists.The scenes of this horror have gone massively viral on social media, with netizens expressing shock. One user commented, "Everything there was reduced to ashes in front of our eyes. This scene is terrifying."

Arrest of Club Owner and Manager

Police have taken strict action against those responsible for the tragedy due to the serious violation of fire safety norms. The club's General Manager has been arrested. Police have also registered a case against the nightclub owner and are taking further legal action.
