Darshan, arrested in the Chitradurga Renukaswamy murder case, is currently lodged in Parappana Agrahara Central Prison. Although he was earlier released on bail and completed the shooting of Devil, the Supreme Court cancelled his bail, forcing him to return to jail. There were already reports that Darshan was frustrated due to strict jail rules and constant pressure.
Allegation of assault inside the cell:Darshan shares his cell with five other co-accused — Anukumar, Jaggu, Nagaraju, Pradosh, and Lakshman. Media reports claimed that Darshan was mentally and physically harassing some of them and that a major fight broke out inside the cell two days ago.Arayna Women's Cotton Printed Floral Straight Kurta with Palazzo Pants and Dupatta
Official clarification from jail administration :Jail Superintendent S.P. Anshukumar prepared a detailed report and submitted it to ADGP Dayanand. After the news broke, every staff member on duty near Darshan’s barrack was individually questioned. All six staff members from the three shifts gave identical statements: “During our duty hours, no quarrel, noise, or assault took place. We also received no complaint from anyone inside the barrack.”'Devil' Releasing Tomorrow: 'Das' Sends a Message to Fans Straight from Jail..!
Statement from inmates in the same barrack :Even the prisoners staying with Darshan told the staff: “Everything is normal here, no fight or scuffle has happened at all.”
Allegations vs Reality :The media allegations and the jail administration’s report completely contradict each other. According to the statements of both jail staff and inmates, no incident of violence or fight took place. However, since allegations of harassment against Darshan have surfaced outside, the matter is likely to remain in the headlines for a few more days.
