The last week of December brings holiday vibes for everyone. With Thursday (December 25) being a holiday for Christmas, many might have planned to work from home (WFH) on Friday, combine it with the weekend holidays on Saturday and Sunday, and enjoy a relaxing four-day long break.

The outage is unavoidable due to essential cable maintenance work at the 66/11 kV Kagganahalli (Kaggehanahalli) Substation, BESCOM stated.

Feeder area of the Kagganahalli Substation, including:

North Gate 1, 2, 3, and Embassy areas

Philips Company surroundings

Dwarka Nagar, Baba Nagar, and nearby areas of Kagganahalli

Bagalur Cross and Mattu Bagalur Main Road

Manipal College, BSF, and PDMS areas

Vinayaka Nagar (near Bagalur Cross) and surrounding layouts

Those planning to work from home are advised to fully charge laptops and power banks in advance or make alternative arrangements.BESCOM officials have appealed to the public to cooperate with this technical necessity.
