Chaos During PM Modi’s Speech: People Fight Over Samosas; Video Goes Viral

A bizarre incident occurred during the inauguration ceremony of the 'Rashtriya Prerna Sthal' in Lucknow, organized to mark the 101st birth anniversary of former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee.

Lucknow: A bizarre incident occurred during the inauguration ceremony of the 'Rashtriya Prerna Sthal' in Lucknow, organized to mark the 101st birth anniversary of former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee. Even as Prime Minister Narendra Modi was addressing the gathering from the stage, a video of people fighting over samosas in the audience gallery has sparked a massive debate on social media.

Details of the Incident:

On December 25, PM Modi visited Lucknow to dedicate the grand memorial built in honor of Vajpayee. Thousands of people had gathered to witness this historic event. While breakfast had been arranged for the attendees, mismanagement in the distribution of snacks led to public outrage.

Chairs Thrown Over Samosas!

In the viral video, three men were seen behaving indecently because they did not receive samosas. The footage captures them hitting each other, throwing plastic chairs, and hurling verbal abuses. Ironically, while the Prime Minister’s speech could be heard in the background, the individuals involved ignored it completely to fight over food.

Following the 'Looting' of Flower Pots

Another video related to the same event had recently gained attention. Local residents were caught on camera rushing to take home thousands of decorative flower pots that had been lined up along the roads to welcome the Prime Minister. This incident, which occurred right after the PM’s departure, highlighted a failure in the administrative arrangements.

Criticism on Social Media:

The videos have drawn mixed reactions from netizens:

* "No matter how much they have at home, people have a special obsession with free snacks," one user commented sarcastically.

* "People should act responsibly at public events. Such behavior diminishes the dignity of the program," another user expressed with disappointment.

Ultimately, it is unfortunate that a grand event organized to honor the legacy of the former Prime Minister is making headlines due to such undisciplined behavior.
