Major Security Lapse in Tirupati: Drunk Man Climbs Gopuram of Govindaraja Swamy Temple, Creates High Drama..!

A significant security lapse has come to light at one of Tirupati's sacred sites.

A significant security lapse has come to light at one of Tirupati's sacred sites. In the historic Sri Govindaraja Swamy Temple in the town, an intoxicated individual jumped over the compound wall, entered the premises, climbed the gopuram, and caused intense anxiety for approximately three hours.

The incident occurred on Friday night when the day's pooja rituals at the temple had concluded and the 'Ekanta Seva' was completed. Women's Cotton Plain Coard Set A-Line Straight Kurti with Pant (Red-M)

The perpetrator, identified as Tirupati (full name: Kuthadi/Kuditi Thirupathi), a resident of Kurmavada in Nizamabad district, Telangana, was heavily under the influence of alcohol.

Evading the strict security personnel, he jumped the temple's boundary wall and entered the premises. Without stopping there, he suddenly climbed the gopuram (specifically the Nadimi Gopuram) and attempted to pull or damage the sacred kalashas (finials) atop it.Also Read: Savitribai Phule Jayanti: Honoring the Mother of Indian Feminism and India’s First Female Teacher
