The wealth of the Leader of the Opposition in the Lok Sabha, Rahul Gandhi, has increased by ₹10.99 crore over the last decade.

New Delhi: In the last decade, Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s assets have increased by 82%, while Leader of the Opposition Rahul Gandhi’s wealth has grown by 117%. These findings were revealed in a new analytical report released by the Association for Democratic Reforms (ADR) and National Election Watch.

The data was compiled based on the affidavits submitted by the candidates to the Election Commission of India.

Asset Details of Narendra Modi

The total assets of Prime Minister Modi, who represents the Varanasi constituency, have increased by ₹1.37 crore over the last 10 years.

* 2014: ₹1.65 Crore

* 2019: ₹2.51 Crore

* 2024: ₹3.02 Crore

Key Highlights:

PM Modi does not own any immovable property (land or house) or a personal vehicle.

* The majority of his wealth is held in the form of deposits in the State Bank of India (₹2.86 crore).

* He has investments of ₹9 lakh in National Savings Certificates (NSC) and owns gold rings valued at ₹2.7 lakh.

* Notably, he has no investments in the stock market, mutual funds, or bonds.

Asset Details of Rahul Gandhi

The wealth of the Leader of the Opposition in the Lok Sabha, Rahul Gandhi, has increased by ₹10.99 crore over the last decade.

* 2014: ₹9.40 Crore

* 2019: ₹15.88 Crore

* 2024: ₹20.39 Crore

The report highlights that Rahul Gandhi’s rate of asset growth (117%) is significantly higher than that of Prime Minister Modi.
