The Minister’s arrival at Zurich Airport on Sunday set the stage for a high-profile week of global diplomacy, where India is being positioned as a stable and innovative destination for international investment.

A Warm Welcome at Zurich

Minister Joshi was received at Zurich Airport by Indian Ambassador to Switzerland, Mridul Kumar. Upon arrival, the Minister noted that India’s presence at Davos this year is a testament to the country’s revolutionary reforms in food systems, renewable energy, and public distribution.

"In the new year, India’s improved governance and execution-first approach are opening doors to unprecedented global investment opportunities," the Minister stated via social media.

The ‘Maha-Victory’ Meet: Joshi & Fadnavis

A key moment on the sidelines of the arrival was the meeting between Minister Joshi and Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis.

Celebrations at Davos: Minister Joshi, along with Union Civil Aviation Minister K. Rammohan Naidu, congratulated CM Fadnavis on the BJP-led Mahayuti alliance's recent resounding victory in the Maharashtra Municipal Corporation Elections.

While the Union Ministers represent the national interest, Karnataka is also making its presence felt.

Industrial Mission: Karnataka’s Minister for Large and Medium Industries, M.B. Patil, is leading a high-level state delegation to hold over 45 high-level meetings with global giants like AWS, Lenovo, and Coca-Cola.
