Regarding whether CBFC should deny certification to Toxic, Joshi clarified that it is currently not possible to make a firm decision.

The film is directed by Geethu Mohandas, with Yash and KVN co-investing. Leading roles are played by Nayanthara, Kiara Advani, Huma Qureshi, Tara Sutaria, and Rukmini Vasant. Toxic is scheduled for release on March 19.
