Bengaluru: In a shocking incident in the capital, a man who had been identifying and providing information to the police about illegal Bangladeshi migrants attempted suicide in front of the Vidhana Soudha, allegedly due to persistent harassment by the same police force.

The individual, identified as Dr. Nagendrappa, had been active in providing information regarding illegal Bangladeshi residents. Alleging that the Soladevanahalli police were continuously harassing him and his family, Nagendrappa consumed poison at the gates of the Vidhana Soudha today.
