Bengaluru: The Republic Day Flower Show, the pride of the Silicon City held at the "Botanical Paradise" Lalbagh, concludes today (Monday). On Sunday, the eve of the final day, a massive wave of visitors swept through the gardens, with the turnout crossing the one-lakh mark.
Massive Crowds on Sunday!With the show ending on Monday, tourists flocked to the gardens to make the most of the weekend. On Sunday alone, a staggering 1,14,626 people visited the park to witness the floral extravaganza.
Long Queues: Visitors had to wait for hours to enter the Glass House. Queues stretched for kilometers, reaching the main roads outside.
Traffic Congestion: Massive traffic jams were witnessed throughout the day on K.H. Road, J.C. Road, and Hosur Road surrounding Lalbagh. Commuters were left frustrated by the gridlock, especially toward the evening.
