New Delhi: The spree of bomb threats in the national capital continues as four prestigious private schools received bomb threats via email this morning. The incident has triggered intense anxiety among parents and students alike.
Schools That Received the Threat:
According to police sources, threat messages were sent via email to the following four schools in Delhi:
Loretto Convent School (Delhi Cantt area)
Don Bosco School (CR Park)
Carmel School (Anand Niketan)
Carmel School (Dwarka Sector 23)
Police Rush to the Spot:
Immediately upon receiving information from the school administrations, the Delhi Police, along with the Bomb Disposal Squad and Dog Squad, rushed to the schools. As a precautionary measure, students were evacuated from classrooms, and a thorough search of the entire school premises was conducted.
Update from the Police:
After an extensive search, the police have expressed a sigh of relief for now. "No suspicious objects have been found in the operation conducted so far. It is suspected that these could be hoax emails. However, the investigation is ongoing," a senior police official stated.
Recently, there has been a rise in such hoax threat emails being sent to schools and hospitals in Delhi. The police have appealed to the public not to panic or pay heed to rumors.
