CJ Roy Death: What Happened in the Last 15 Minutes? Shocking Details Emerge!

The suicide case of CJ Roy, the head of the multi-billion dollar Confident Group, is taking several twists and turns.

Bengaluru: The suicide case of CJ Roy, the head of the multi-billion dollar Confident Group, is taking several twists and turns. While reports suggest he was distraught following Income Tax (IT) department raids, serious suspicions have now been raised regarding the final moments leading to his death. In this regard, TJ Joseph, Director of Confident Group, has filed a complaint with the police, detailing the mysterious circumstances surrounding the tragedy.

Roy Opted for Stairs Over the Elevator!

Known for his immense patience and ever-smiling demeanor, CJ Roy was someone who never buckled under challenges. However, when he arrived at his Langford Road office on the afternoon of January 30, anxiety was writ large on his face. Upon getting out of his car, Roy—to the surprise of his staff—did not use the elevator as usual but instead ran up the stairs.

Orders for the Gunman to Stay Out

The gunman, who was always by Roy’s side, received an unexpected order that day. "You stay outside; do not let anyone in," Roy instructed strictly before entering his chamber alone. The complaint notes that this was highly unusual behavior, as such a restriction had never been imposed in the history of his office.

15 Minutes of Silence Followed by a Gunshot

Once inside his room, Roy locked the door. For about 15 minutes, there was no sound from within. Roy did not have a habit of staying in isolation or locking himself in. However, at the 15-minute mark, a sudden gunshot was heard. Staff members rushed to the room and broke down the door to find Roy lying in a pool of blood. Although he was immediately rushed to Narayana Hospital, he failed to respond to treatment and passed away.

Police Intensify Probe

Following the director's complaint, the police are in the process of registering an FIR. A SOCO (Scene of Crime Officers) team visited the spot to conduct an investigation:

Evidence Collection: Bloodstains in the chamber and fingerprints on the pistol have been collected.

Seizure: The deceased’s mobile phone and the pistol used in the act have been seized by the police.

The investigation is ongoing to determine whether the pressure of the IT raids or other underlying reasons led to this extreme step.
