On January 30, Union Minister Pralhad Joshi officially unveiled the logo and posters for the 2026 edition. Speaking at the launch, the Minister highlighted that after successful runs in Gujarat, Goa, and Ahmedabad, Hubballi is now hosting its 7th edition, firmly establishing the twin cities on the international kite-flying map.

The commercial hub of North Karnataka is gearing up for a spectacular aerial display as the International Kite Festival 2026 takes flight on February 7 and 8. Organised as part of the MP Cultural and Sports Mahotsav, the event promises to turn the Hubballi sky into a vibrant canvas of colors and creativity.

Official Logo and Poster Launch

On January 30, Union Minister Pralhad Joshi officially unveiled the logo and posters for the 2026 edition. "We are bringing the world to Hubballi. With top-tier kitists from across the globe and an expected turnout of over 2 lakh people, this isn't just a festival it's a celebration of our culture and spirit," said Minister Joshi. The festival is designed to be more than just kite flying. It seamlessly blends high-octane musical performances with traditional Indian sports.
