Under the latest circular from Greater Bengaluru Authority (GBA) Chief Commissioner Maheshwar Rao, traders and business owners across Bengaluru's five city corporations now have the opportunity to renew their trade licenses.

Penalty-Free Renewal Period Details:

February 1 to February 28, 2026: Renew without any penalty.

March 1 to March 31, 2026: Renewal attracts a 25% penalty on the license fee.

Renewal Duration Options:

Businesses can choose to renew for 1 to 5 years at once, as per their preference.

Fees are payable only for the selected number of years (e.g., pay for 3 years if opting for multi-year renewal).

Payment Methods:

Online: Through the official GBA / municipal portal for digital payments.
