To create awareness among citizens about waste segregation, proper waste disposal and cleanliness in Bengaluru, the Bengaluru Solid Waste Management Limited (BSWML) has appointed three eminent personalities as cleanliness ambassadors. Padma Shri awardee Manjamma Jogati, actor Aniruddh Jatkar and social activist Arun Pai will spread the message of keeping the city clean.

The Bengaluru Solid Waste Management Limited (BSWML) has taken an important step to increase awareness about waste management and cleanliness in the city. The aim of this appointment is to educate citizens about waste segregation, proper disposal of garbage and the importance of environmental cleanliness. These ambassadors will participate in various programs and campaigns to spread awareness among the public.

With the amount of garbage increasing day by day in Bengaluru, the main objective of the campaign is to encourage people to segregate wet and dry waste at home before disposal.
