Following chaos at the airport and being left in a vulnerable state at his hotel, renowned Non-Resident Indian (NRI) businessman Ronald Colaco stepped in to provide him with shelter.
Stranded at the Hotel
Explosion-like sounds in Dubai had triggered widespread panic among the public. With the suspension of flight operations, Bhojegowda found himself stranded at a hotel. Upon learning of the situation, businessman Ronald Colaco reached out and provided shelter to Bhojegowda and his family at his residence, ensuring their safety. Bhojegowda has expressed his profound gratitude to Colaco for his help during this crisis.
Bhojegowda Allays Family’s Fears
Sharing an update on the current situation in Dubai, Bhojegowda stated, "I am safe with my family; there is no need for anyone to panic. However, the situation in Dubai has not yet returned to complete normalcy."

As news of his plight spread, several prominent leaders from the state called to inquire about his well-being:
H.D. Kumaraswamy: The former CM reached out via telephone to offer support and encouragement.
CM Siddaramaiah and G. Parameshwara: The Chief Minister and the Home Minister have remained in contact with Bhojegowda to stay updated on his status.

Diplomatic Measures to Bring Him Home
The state government has already initiated efforts to bring Bhojegowda and his family back to Karnataka safely. Passport details have been collected from them, and necessary diplomatic measures are being coordinated through the Central Government. It is expected that they will return as soon as flight operations normalize.
