Kalaburagi: A shocking incident that defies humanity has taken place in Andola village of Jewargi taluk in the district. Serious allegations have surfaced regarding the sexual assault of a mentally ill woman who was seeking treatment at a local Mutt. The accused, identified as Chinnu Jamadar, a resident of Andola, is alleged to have committed this heinous crime.

Assault on a Woman Residing at the Mutt

The victim, originally from Yadgir district, suffers from mental illness. She had been residing at the Mutt in Andola village for treatment and shelter. It is alleged that the accused, Chinnu Jamadar, lured her to a nearby field and sexually assaulted her.

Accused Caught Red-Handed

Local Hindu youths, who received information that a man had taken the mentally ill woman toward the fields, rushed to the spot immediately. Upon reaching the field, they reportedly found the assault in progress. While the youths were recording the incident on video, the accused, Chinnu Jamadar, was seen pleading, saying, "I made a mistake, please let me go this once."

Video Viral: Accused Absconding

The video of the entire incident was uploaded to a Facebook page by a youth named Hullesh Kasarbhosga. As the video spread rapidly across social media platforms, the accused, Chinnu Jamadar, fled from the village to avoid being caught.

Police Case Registered

A complaint regarding the incident has been filed at the Jewargi Police Station. The public and members of Hindu organizations have demanded strict legal action against the accused. The police have currently registered a case and have launched a manhunt to track down the absconding suspect. The assault on a helpless woman has sparked massive outrage in the village.
