Fear of Commercial LPG Shortage in Bengaluru: Crisis for Hotel Industry, Tejasvi Surya Writes to Centre

The possibility of a shortage of commercial LPG cylinders in Bengaluru has created concern in the hotel industry. With fears that some hotels may be forced to shut down, the Bengaluru Hotel Association has submitted a request to the central government. In response to the issue, MP Tejasvi Surya and Union Minister Shobha Karandlaje have written to Union Petroleum Minister Hardeep Singh Puri seeking immediate action.

There are indications that Bengaluru may face a shortage of commercial LPG cylinders, which has increased anxiety among hotel owners. Many hotels in the city depend heavily on commercial LPG cylinders for their daily cooking operations. Industry members say that if the supply of cylinders is disrupted, it may become difficult to run hotel businesses. Some hoteliers have even expressed fear that they may be forced to temporarily shut down their establishments.Seiko Silicone Analog Black Dial Men Watch-Srpd76K1, Black Band

To bring attention to the issue, the Bengaluru Hotel Association has appealed to the central government to ensure a continuous supply of LPG cylinders to the hotel sector. The association stated that thousands of people are employed in the hotel industry, and any disruption in LPG supply could affect both employment and services provided to customers.

In this context, Bengaluru South MP Tejasvi Surya has written a letter to Union Minister for Petroleum and Natural Gas Hardeep Singh Puri, requesting that uninterrupted LPG supply be ensured for hotels and restaurants. He also mentioned that piped natural gas (PNG) or electric cooking systems are not yet widely available across the city, making the hotel sector highly dependent on LPG cylinders. Is a movie coming based on the Renukaswamy case?
