Israel-Iran War Impact: Life is Hard Without Gas and Petrol; Suttur Seer Calls for Peace

A war breaking out in any corner of the world is never limited to just those nations; its heat is felt across the entire globe.

Mysuru: A war breaking out in any corner of the world is never limited to just those nations; its heat is felt across the entire globe. Expressing concern over the ongoing conflict between Israel and Iran, Sri Shivarathri Deshikendra Mahaswamiji of Suttur Mutt stated that it is alarming to see disruptions in the supply of essential commodities like gas and fuel. Speaking at a religious gathering in Nanjanagudu, the Seer spoke movingly about the horrors of war and the urgent need for humanity.

Key Highlights of the Seer’s Speech:

Dependency on Fuel: Today, humanity has reached a stage where life is difficult to sustain without gas, petrol, and diesel. Due to wars occurring in foreign lands, there are fluctuations in the supply of gas and fuel even in India.

Selfishness and Destruction: Innocent lives are being lost globally due to the selfishness, prestige, and jealousy of a few individuals. It is heart-wrenching to see infants, who do not even understand the meaning of war, becoming corpses.

Religion and Peace: Wherever there is religious extremism or stubbornness, such violent incidents tend to recur. Peace is only possible in the world when we cultivate a mindset of loving and respecting fellow human beings.

India’s Message: The Seer reminded the audience that India is a nation that gave the noble message of "Sarve Jano Sukhino Bhavantu" (May everyone be happy) to the world.

"Everything functions smoothly only when there is mutual love and harmony between nations. May these destructive events occurring in the world stop as soon as possible," the Seer prayed to the Almighty during the occasion.
