Prime Minister Narendra Modi will be on his two-day visit to Assam starting today. The long awaited renaissance starts in Assam.

PM Modi is inaugurating many projects in Assam on his two-day visit to Northeast State, ignored by the previous governments, and is finally getting the attention and the allocation for the development it deserves.

Assam, the “Gateway of Northeast India”, the land defined by the mighty Brahmaputra River, lush emerald, tea gardens and rich tapestry of ethnic diversity. Unfortunately the State never got significant development projects. Previous Governments did not do much for the development of the State and the state was listed in the backward states for a long time.

 The PM is expected to launch multiple development projects amounting to 47,800 crores INR in the State. PM will reach Kokrajhar in the noon and will perform Bhoomi Pooja, lay foundation stones and unfold all the projects.

The Projects.

Assam Mala, 3 and 6 roads project including flyovers and two Bridges for the BTC area.

He will simultaneously lay foundation stone for the Railway periodic Workshop, he will also flag off 3 new train routes. Kamakya-Charlapalli Amrit Bharat Express, Guwhati-New Jalpaiguri Express and Narangi-Agartala Express.

Later in Guwhati, PM will do Bhoomi Pooja and dedicate multi projects amounting 19,680 Crores.

PM will present PM-Kisan scheme to over 9.3 crores formers all across the country.

Tomorrow PM will dedicate new projects worth 233,550 crores, details will be disclosed while presenting the projects.

That’s ample of development in the land of Himanta Biswa Sharma. The projects will also have an impact on upcoming election.
