The precession strike conducted by US force has obliterated the Iran military base at Kharg Island. Kharg Island is located in Persian Gulf and the main commercial avenue, through which Iran’s oil export is carried out and it plays a crucial role in Iran’s energy sector. US central command has executed the attack successfully, destroying the complete island, except the oil facility. This is the biggest attack in the history of Middle East, erasing all of Iran’s equipment and men.
Kharg Island had the presence of Iran’s biggest military base and they coordinated with Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps through the island.
The island also had the base of terror network. Both Hamas and Houthis operated with the help of Iran’s Military. The attack on the Island is a warning to Iran, if they block Strait of Hormuz, US would destroy Iran’s oil facility too, hampering Iran’s economy. Kharg Island exports 1.5 Barrels of oil every day. Destroying the oil unit at Kharg Island proves devastating to Iran.
The attack was made in the late noon on 13th February, and Iran has not confirmed the attack and has not made any statement.
