Hatti Gold Mine is located in Raichur District and is one of the oldest gold Mines ever known to mankind, producing Gold every year contributing to the state economy significantly. The Gold Mine is in the news for its modernization and expansion, over the years the Quantity produced has increased and the year 2025, it reached up to 1700 kilos per year.
The high profit earning company, has earned around 436 crores for the fiscal year 2024 and distributed 97 crores dividend to the State of Karnataka. Karnataka Government has taken project to dwell 191 meters further deep that makes the total depth of 378 meters. This expansion can unearth 75,000 tons of additional ore.
To achieve the target the Government has approved 985 crores on the township and to build 2700 new homes and 130-bed hospital for the employees of the Gold Mine.
