West Bengal: Supplementary voter list to be published this evening..!

As part of preparations for the West Bengal Assembly elections, the Election Commission of India (ECI) is expected to publish the first supplementary voter list this evening as part of the ongoing Special Intensive Revision (SIR) of electoral rolls.

As part of preparations for the West Bengal Assembly elections, the Election Commission of India (ECI) is expected to publish the first supplementary voter list this evening as part of the ongoing Special Intensive Revision (SIR) of electoral rolls.

This is the initial supplementary list following the final voter roll released on February 28, 2026. It addresses names previously placed "under adjudication" in the final list where around 63 lakh entries were excluded or flagged for verification, reducing the state's total electorate to about 7.04 crore.

ECI senior officials told PTI that verification and adjudication have resolved around 27-27.2 lakh of these pending cases through judicial scrutiny. Shining Diva Fashion Latest Stylish Rose Gold Austrian Crystal Bracelet for Women and Girls (11941b), Free

It will be treated like the final roll copies sent to district election officers, displayed at all polling booths, and made available online via the CEO West Bengal website, ECI portals, or the ECINET app.The Conflict Over Assamese Identity: BJP and Congress Have Weaponized It...!

Further supplementary lists may follow for remaining cases. Voters can check their status at booths or online using EPIC number via electoralsearch.

The TMC has strongly opposed the SIR process, alleging it risks disenfranchising genuine voters, and judicial reviews/appeals are ongoing .
