Pathanmajra was the first time MLA from Sanour was caught in Gwalior and was brought back to Patiala. The Senior Superintendent of Police Varun Sharma confirmed it to media. The MLA will be produced in the court of Law for further proceedings. The rape case was registered against Pathanmajra in September.

On September 1^st, 2025 a Zirakpur based women had registered the rape case against him, the charges included cheating, criminal intimidation and rape. He mispresented himself as a divorcee and the relation developed between them, and later married in 2021 while already he was married. She also accused him of sexual exploitation, threats and sending her obscene messages. The Police has not disclosed the identity of the women who registered the case.

The AAP MLA was officially declared as proclaimed offender as he did not appear in the court multiple times. The Patiala Police had issued a warrant and was hunting for the MLA and he was on the run and police were not able catch him.
