Big Twist in Ricky Rai Lamborghini Drifting Case: Another FIR Filed Over Tax Evasion!

Ricky Rai, who recently made headlines for drifting his Lamborghini in the heart of the capital, is now facing a mountain of legal trouble.

Bengaluru: Ricky Rai, who recently made headlines for drifting his Lamborghini in the heart of the capital, is now facing a mountain of legal trouble. Beyond traffic violations, a fresh FIR has been registered at the Cubbon Park Police Station following serious allegations of evading lakhs of rupees in government taxes.

Illegalities Exposed During Cubbon Park Police Investigation

Shocking facts emerged when the traffic police verified the vehicle's documents. It was discovered that although Ricky Rai purchased the Lamborghini in Delhi, he had failed to officially register it in Bengaluru to date.

Fancy Number Plates Without Paying Tax!

The investigation revealed several major irregularities:

Unregistered Vehicle: Ricky had repainted the car purchased in Delhi but continued to drive it in Karnataka without local registration.

Fancy Number Fraud: Although he secured the fancy number KA 05 NR 0009 through an RTO auction, he allegedly failed to pay the required taxes, amounting to lakhs of rupees, to the government.

Defrauding the Treasury: As it is a high-end luxury car, a massive registration fee and tax were mandatory. However, he bypassed all rules and illegally fitted the fancy number plate to the vehicle.

The Mystery of the Missing Owner Solved

On the first day of the incident, the police had identified the car's number but struggled to trace the owner. This was because Ricky Rai had allegedly concealed the original records to defraud the government. Based on a complaint filed by the Cubbon Park Traffic Police, the Law and Order division has now taken over the investigation.

Case Registered Under BNS Sections

Due to the alleged fraud against the government, a case has been filed against Ricky Rai under several stringent sections of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS):

Section 318(4): Related to cheating and fraud.

Section 304(2): Related to the misuse or forgery of documents.

Section 341: Related to illegal obstruction or providing false information.

Currently, the traffic police have the expensive Lamborghini in their custody, and the investigation is ongoing.
