According to police sources, the accused, Ravindra, and the victim, Mounika, knew each other. On Sunday night, Ravindra had invited the young woman to his flat. It is reported that a heated argument broke out between them at the location.

Visakhapatnam: In a spine-chilling incident reminiscent of Delhi's infamous 'Shraddha Walkar' murder, a horrific crime has come to light in Visakhapatnam, Andhra Pradesh. An Indian Navy employee allegedly murdered a young woman, chopped her body into pieces, and stored them in a refrigerator following a dispute over an extramarital affair and money. The victim has been identified as 29-year-old Mounika. The accused is 35-year-old Chintada Ravindra, a married man working as a technician in the Indian Navy.

Lured to the Flat and Brutally Murdered

According to police sources, the accused, Ravindra, and the victim, Mounika, knew each other. On Sunday night, Ravindra had invited the young woman to his flat. It is reported that a heated argument broke out between them at the location.

As the verbal spat escalated, an enraged Ravindra allegedly murdered Mounika. The cruelty did not stop there. In an attempt to destroy the evidence, the accused chopped her body into multiple pieces. He then hid the severed body parts inside the refrigerator in his house.

Accused Walks into Police Station to Surrender

After committing this heinous crime, the accused, Ravindra, walked directly to the police station to surrender. Confessing to his crime before the police, he reportedly stated that he killed her because she was constantly harassing him and demanding money. The police have arrested the accused and are currently inspecting his flat. The body parts found in the fridge have been seized and sent for a post-mortem examination.
